Community Football roadmap to return

Please see the below update from Football NSW regarding the return of community sport off the back of yesterday’s NSW Government announcement.

It appears community sport will be able to return once we have hit 80% double vaccination. Further information around the actual date, restrictions and what’s expected of us will be released in time.

This will impact the summer football season, with the NSFA summer football season not able to commence on the provisional start date of 11 October. We will monitor closely and release more information regarding a start date over the coming month.

Football NSW Refunds

Football NSW have announced they will be providing refunds to Association members.

The NSFA are yet to receive any funds from FNSW. This topic will be up for discussion at the upcoming NSFA Board meeting, however further clarification and visibility of funds is required before they make a decision on how best to manage this.

NSFA Season survey 2021

Earlier in the week the NSFA released their annual survey to members. This has already attracted a lot of attention with over 600 responses. I encourage you all to complete this survey to help the NSFA identify areas of improvement ahead of 2022.
