Brooklyn Soccer Club
ALL STARS CUP & SHIELD - SUNDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER

We have been able to reschedule the Brooklyn All Stars Cup and Shield to Sunday 19th September 2010 - 1pm kick off for girls - 3pm kick off for guys.
There will be a $15 entry fee for all players (to cover cost of T-Shirts and ground hire).
IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO PLAY ON THE DAY - PLEASE ADVISE YOUR MANAGER/COACH ASAP TO ENSURE YOU ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE DRAW.
PLEASE NOTE: AS THE CRICKET SEASON HAS NOW COMMENCED - THE CRICKET PITCH WILL BE EXPOSED FOR THIS MATCH. IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO PLAY UNDER THESE CONDITIONS, PLEASE ADVISE YOUR MANAGER/COACH.

Junior Presentation Day will be held on Sunday 19th September on Brooklyn Oval. Games start at 9.30am, Please arrive earlier and bring along your shin pads. The Presentations will be followed by a sausage sizzle.

GREAT RESULT FOR OUR U12'S

Our U12's have finished first in their competition. They scored (34) goals ahead of their nearest opponent. They won (9) of their (16) games, conceded (3) and drew on (4) occasions. Great effort and congratulations. | |

KDSA SUMMER 5 A SIDE COMPETITION

You can sign up for the summer 5-a-side competition run by KDSA. Ages catered for are U10-Over 45 (boys, girls, men, women and mixed) Monday to Thursday
There are 4 components to entering a team.
1) Register a team, a manager creates a team.
2) Manager "invites" players by listing their name and email address
3) Players accept/decline the invitation .
4) Player registers their details and makes payment.
Each year players accept the invitation and do not take the final step, inconveniencing their team mates. If you accept an invitation please also complete a registration form with your details.
Facilities are available for players who are looking for a team or teams that are looking for players, visit the web site for more details www.nsfc.com.au
For those aged U6-U10, a 5-a-side competition is run at Koola Park, Killara on Tuesdays evenings. For more information, go to www.stivesfootball.com.au.

The position of Equipment Officer remains vacant. This is an important role, however, primarily only needed at the beginning of the season and finalisation of the season. All assistance will be provided to anyone willing to undertake this position.

UNDER 7 BULLFROGS - BROOKLYN FOOTBALL STARS OF TOMORROW
Our Under 7's Team have been extremely competitive this season experiencing some strong opposition. The Club are extremely proud of the teams acheivements to date. Congratulations and well done.
The Bullfrogs team members are
Molly Coe, Grace Cribb, Massimo D'Ercole, Jack Dimmock, Rachel Glendenning, Joe Hickie, Lauren Kenny-Raison, Russell Mayo, Tammy Mussett, Erin O'Donnell Henry Rodgers, Isaac Tinaci, India Weddin.
This is our first junior team coached by one of Brooklyns Juniors, Tiarne Hayes (14 years old) has been a valued member and competitor for our club since the age of 5. Thank you to Tiarne for volunteering her time and expertise for the benefit of our juniors. |

HORNSBY DISTRICT TO QUALIFY & TRIAL FOR
THE SCHOOL GIRLS NSW TEAM.
SHONA MADE THE 2ND LAST FINAL QUALIFICATION
ROUND AND WAS UP AGAINST GIRLS FROM ALL
OVER THE STATE. |

Our Under 11B's are having a great season of football. Their statistics are 5 wins, 4 losses, Nil draws. Scoring a total of 25 goals, conceding 22. Great effort Team.

UNDER 9'S HAWKES - BROOKLYN FOOTBALL STARS OF TOMORROW
Congratulations to our all girl team the Under 9's Hawkes. The team enjoyed their first well earned victory defeating Sacred Heart Pymble Red (2) to (1) on the 12th June.
A Great effort and look forward to reading some more about their team in the match reports.

Brooklyn has an extremely unique, interactive and innovative web page compared to other Clubs within the KDSA District. All Managers & Coaches can input News and information with our extremely user friendly and autonomous system including photos, individual team match reports, statistics.
This information is also readily available to view by all Club members.

BROOKLYN FOOTBALL STARS OF TOMORROW - U6 BANDICOOTS
Welcome to our newest BUSC members, the U6 Brooklyn Bandicoots. We have (13) children comprising of 5 girls and 7 boys currently competing in the KDSA Small Sided Games, the biggest enrolment in this age group for many years.
Our Football Stars of Tomorrow are

Madison Millward,Tori Mussett,Seb Nickolls,Laura O'Hehir,Jay Penno,Ines Powell,Amelia Townsend.
